Our MissionInterVarsity is a diverse, student-led community working together to create a safe place for all to experience the love of God. We believe that God loves every one, and our goal is to help each and every single student at UCSB and SBCC realize and accept that. InterVarsity exists to invite all students from every culture and background to experience Jesus and respond.

Small Groups
Small Group Bible studies are the lifeblood of our ministry at UCSB and SBCC. Get together with 5-10 of your peers and discover scripture in a safe and discovery-oriented environment.

Large Groups
Weekly Large Group meetings are an opportunity for all of our Small Groups to come together for worship, prayer, and learning as one faith community, united in Christ.

Discipleship
Students who want to press deeper into their faith can meet one-on-one with a member of our staff team to learn more about what it means to live a life that's honoring to God.

Community Building
Our fellowship isn't just all fun and games, but we are known to have a good time! From beach days, to movie nights, to study parties, and more, we have plenty of opportunities for you to build bonds with other students.

Camps & Conferences
InterVarsity chapters exist at many of our neighboring campuses, and we get to connect with them throughout the year at special events. Join us for Fall Conference, Urbana, Ambition, Spring Break Camp, and more!

Prayer
Meetings We believe in the power of prayer and facilitate many opportunities for prayer meetings on campus. We pray for circumstances in our own lives, for the world at large, and of course over our college campuses.

Leadership
If you're interested in increasing your involvement by giving back to the community, we have several positions open for students to lead small groups, join the worship team, serve behind the scenes, organize events, and more!

Book Clubs
The dialogue doesn't stop at Small Group! We continue the conversation as we read and discuss various authors' approaches to modern issues, theological stances, and fictional narratives inspired by the Bible.

Global Programs
God loves the whole world, and through InterVarsity you can help us love Bosnia and Herzegovina by joining our team in supporting the IFES chapter there as we teach English lessons and share the gospel.
